It was another awesome weekend out on the Sandbar.  The weekend got off to a slow start as the wind (and Barge Party) was held off by an all day soaking of rain.  We decided to head over to the dusky to try to time the end of the rain and hit the water right afterward in hopes of getting some riding in before the sun went down.

It was still a bit chilly out but the wind came up and the temps came up with them when the clouds started to clear.  Everyone got to session into the evening.  The wind was coming up from the south so the butter flat water wasn't there yet.

The rain cooperated with us again and held off through Sunday.  It got much windier and HOT.  That drew out the crowd that was supposed to be there the day before for the Sandusky Bay Barge Party.  They all stayed up to the north which kept the riding area clear with a steady stream of people coming up to check out the action.  Throughout the day the wind switched more west and opened up the Glory Hole (1 foot deep completely flat stinky pond behind the reeds).

I'm liking the new Synergy bindings everytime I get on them.  The heel hold down blocks keep the foot secure to get super leverage onto the board.  Then that Concept Grind pops like a champ!
